since when is a lunchbox a sword?

well no, because there are no usable 1h BWs over level 70 that have any kind of advantage over 2hBW.

70 Gigantic Sledge: Slow 87 atk
70 The Judgment: Normal 83 atk, 1h
75 The Bent Judgment: Normal 85 atk, 1h
70 Colourful Tube: Fast 85 atk, 1h (good attack, 2 tiers faster than the 2h)
80 Morningstar: Normal, 92 atk, 2h
80 Heaven's Justice: Normal 88 atk, 1h
90 Ruin Hammer: Normal, 93 atk, 1h
100 Battle Hammer: Normal, 98 atk, 1h
100 Yellow Duck Tube: Fast, 90 atk, 1h
110 Dragon Mace: Normal, 103 atk, 1h

The Morningstar I bought for 20mil (115/12) is comparable to a 1h+Shield with a total of 126 w.atk, or a Duck Tube+shield with ~119 atk (in dps). In either case, 20mil doesn't even cover a single shield attack scroll, so attack shields are out. That means scrolling 5x30% or better on a level 100+ weapon to compare with my Morningstar which is level 80 and 4 30%s.

If the duck tube was stronger, or the Battle Hammer/Dragon Mace were faster, then they might be worthwhile.

1h Swords have a use because in comparison to the price of a good Claymore (600m-1bil), the cost of a shield is not as major, and almost every 1h sword is faster than its 2h counterpart (exceptions being Sparta + Stonetooth, Japanese Map/Tiger's Fang + Jeweled Katar @ 50, Lionheart + Cutlus @ 35)

Adding a 109 atk Fast(4) 1h sword makes it 2 speed tiers faster than a Claymore, and 4 atk higher. For BWs it's more like 17 extra atk and 2 tiers, or 2-7 atk and 3 speed tiers...
