Stereo, I thought that was a great post.
It is indeed quite absurd as to how many people were innocently banned. I fail to understand how Nexon America could've even THOUGHT about taking such approach in bannings. To me, it would have been crystal clear that it is absolutely not a possibility that will work. Sure, they probably did get Bigfoot abusers. All of them? Nope. Only the low levels.
You must remember... many people did not glitch bigfoot for the exp, but rather to sell toes in some cases. There were -usually- higher leveled people, whom the autoban filter (level gain) did not target, seeing as they didn't gain multiple levels from this.
I am still today banned until September 25th. Yes, I leeched. That is common knowledge around me, and I will not deny it for I see nothing wrong with it. I worked for my mesos. I did not buy them (I have NEVER bought them). Just because I choose to work on Zakum or other bosses instead of work on training... that really shouldn't affect anything, IMO.
But I'm going off topic. My point was that I completely agree with Stereo on everything that was said.
I have hopes... I've always had hopes. This is the first actual time where I've been personally affected by Nexon's innocent bans, and I've been playing in Bera for around 2.5-3 years.
It is my hope that Nexon improves. It seemed they did for a while... with the whole communication deal. But now? Sorry. No, they have not. They have not learned from their mistakes. This is not the first time of innocent bannings, neither is it the first time of obvious and avoidable glitches. It is also not the first time of useless fixes for these so called glitches.
I'm done, though. I will not go further to contact Nexon. 3 Tickets, with the latter being closed without reply. A phonecall, afterwhich I was told to log a ticket (obviously).
Good luck to those who continue to pursue their unbannings. I certainley hope you will be more successful than I was.
