Would you like to work for Nexon?

I'd love to GM a game. <3 I think the best GMs are the ones who actually play the games they GM for actively and experience the game with their fellow gamers. They're considered customer relations GMs, but most of the CR GMs don't play the games they GM for, and can't do a very good job. I was offered one of these positions by a far less massive company than Nexon, but couldn't take the job due to lack of transportation (some time ago, sadly). ;-;

Pardon my semi-offtopic bit to follow, but..

I think it would be a very interesting and potentially smart move if Nexon were to hire in-game "Moderators" (not GMs, this would be a step down) to "police" the game to a point, with a small amount of pay and perhaps some benefits. A GM has a lot more on their plate than just dealing with the players, holding events, and responding to tickets (at least, they act like they do). So..

 Idea:

Hire ACTIVE in-game "Moderators" for each server to start with, the number of which should be based on each server's population. I think something close to 1:100 would be a great final number, but more likely it would be 1:500 or higher, knowing Nexon. Preferably players from all over the country with all kinds of playing times, so that there is no time when none of them are on. Pay based on hours a week active, and risk losing position & being replaced if dropping below half the required hours for a week. The goal of this "program" would be to ELIMINATE the "need" for the autoban system.

Next, give them a few abilities.. like temporarily muting users for swearing (can't talk AT ALL for xx amount of time), sending a character back to town for suspected botting (hell, give them the lie detectors to use on the botters), advanced priority report functions for major offenses (so GMs can find the BIG problems more quickly), temp banning (with permanent bans that require GM approval), allow them to view player reports and investigate them (the "Hide" and "Warp" skills for example), and so on and so forth.

Basically, mini-GMs that can help clean up the game for a small encouragement fee and a couple of perks, like maybe a discount on some items in the CS or a small amount of MaplePoints per pay period. Unfortunately, there are a lot of flaws with a system like this that would keep Nexon from ever even trying it, even if it could be presented with solutions for those flaws.
