Also never saw confirmation one way or the other as far as the monster book goes. That'd be nice.
Opening the monster book apparently crashes the game.
EDIT: Nevermind. That was the medal tab. The monster book was completely removed from the game, or, at least, it's not possible to open the UI anymore, nor clicking on monsters does anything. I don't know about monster cards.
