Name: Investigate the heavens
Time Limit: 1 hour
Area:Orbis Tower
Boss:I dunno but something awesome
Level Range: 120-200
Stages: Something appears to be wrong with the stars above Orbis, Minerva the goddess, freed following the events of OPQ has been looking for warriors to investigate: however, it is not possible for normal beings to walk among the heavens. She will bless everyone in the expedition with the power of a crystal allowing them to survive though! The crystal does have a limitiation: Its power will weaken as the members take damage: Giving everyone a pooled HP bar based on the number of members in the party (perhaps 500k hp per member: max of 20). If the crystal's power runs out completely Minerva will warp the party back to save them from death, resulting in a failed PQ.
This pooled HP bar can not be recovered by using potions, and only Bishops can slightly recover a portion of lost power by using heal: But the heal attempt must actually heal party member hp (no crystal recovery if used on players with full HP) and only 20% of what party members actually recover will be added to the crystal's hp. If a member dies, they may respawn at the start of the PQ area and return to the current stage: however the crystal will take damage equal to 2x of the characters' total AP (counting equips) meaning that a stronger party member dying is a higher penalty than a weaker one dying.
Overall, this pooled hp will force players to think defensively as well as offensively, and characters with good defense will help preserve the party's hp and be better choices for tanking.
Stage 1: Constellation restoration
A classic JPQ scenario: as the party travels a clear, reflective pathway through the heavens, there are 4 different jump quest areas at the end of which is a star that's been misplaced. and in the center a special platform to place the stars, that will turn them into shooting stars that place them in their correct places again to fix broken constellations. the JPQ is full of damaging traps dealing a minimum of 1k damage: Will you choose to let only 4 pros run to limit the damage to your crystal? or Send everyone for the sake of preserving the time limit? Choice is yours.
Stage 2: Fury of the Zodiac
6 rooms here, each with 2 monsters representing the Zodiac transformed into vicious monsters await. They all have moderately high amounts of HP (40m hp each on average) and most have access to hp/mp to 1 attacks at close range, which can deal heavy damage to the crystal if not avoided. Others have access to Damage Reflect, dealing about 6k-8k damage when struck. The remainder may be able to zombify. Choose carefully how to conquer these rooms: you can do them in any order and split up the party at will.
Stage 3: The Threat looming in the heavens.
The Main PQ boss awaits. A giant celestial being calls your party to a fight with various parts to attack HT/Zakum Style; Watch this boss' movements carefully: Damage Reflect and attacks that threaten to hit the whole party at once unless avoided can drain the crystal's strength quickly. If you're high on time, focus on fighting defensively, but seeing as he'll have roughly 200m hp feel free to take risks with heavier hits to DPS faster. Once defeated, the chaos within the stars will cease.
Type: Co-op i suppose.
Exp: Not sure about post BB exp gains yet, but preferably worth it.
Oh, since Potential system is insane lets add a chaos mode too eventually (adds a 0 to every boss's hp for it)
