Dark Link Wrote:My "Irony Meter" exploded from this post. The job name may have been Knight a long time ago in GMS, "adapted" is not the right word for it, it changed into White Knights.
Let me break this down...
No, the job name is "Knight", but was later adapted to "White Knight" in GMS terminology. Last I checked, GMS isn't the origination of MapleStory.
So name is NO LONGER Knight, wherever you look at it from..
Dark Link Wrote:Actually, YOU'RE the one making the big deal out of it. Not a single person had any problem with the topic title until YOU came in and started up a storm.Actually, YOU and the likes of you are the ones making the big deal out of it since I merely stated this was a misleading title and that what one may think about the video containing may either be a White, a Dragon or a Dark -knight, idc if some people may already know what it means, it's still misleading to people that don't.
I did not make a storm, as you may see of my first post, but those who answered it rudely and with so over-the-top thinking that everybody know what Knight means made a storm.
Dark Link Wrote:Wait, you're not the only one who doesn't know? From the looks of it in this topicI responded to that comment earlier, read.
it seems you ARE the only one who doesn't know. Everyone else seems to have known that "Knight" was "WK" right off the bat.
Dark Link Wrote:I smell too much ignorance sinked inside your posts.Weird, I actually smelled the ignorance from your posts.
Dark Link Wrote:Again, "Knight" is the original job name.May have been the original, but is no longer the name and while it WAS the name, wasn't for a while.
Again, GMS isn't the origination of MapleStory
I never said anything about Maplestory originating from GMS.. There may have been different names for it in other versions but if I wanted to use their names I wouldn't go translate it word to word cause that would not mean the same thing for people who use English in GMS and know different names that actually mean something in English.
Dark Link Wrote:They're very close-minded if they think that. Every single relation to "Dark Knight" is either spelled out as "DrK" or "Dark Knight", I have yet to see ANY one refer to "Dark Knight" as "Knight", other than what you're claiming it to be the case, which it isn't.Cause that's exactly my point, you can't use "Knight" as a job name since in English it does not represent the job name, you would have to add the continuing in order to determine which kind of knight it is.
Dark Link Wrote:You just simple can't admit you're wrong either. You're too ignorant / ego-inflated to admit to it either, so who's really the ignorant person in this topic?I'm proving the point Knight is not a job name and the title is misleading as it does not specify which kind of job it is.
I don't have to admit I'm wrong cause I ACTUALLY am not wrong, Knight is not a job name, go on basil and make a thread if you want, tell them you wanna make a Knight and I wanna see their responses..
I'm confused as to why you're even trying to argue this in the first place other than to prove a point, which has no relevance at hand here.
@Loose Good luck on your KoC
