You got the 2009 version right? I just checked; the order is fixed for the 2009 version (28 episodes. lol.)
Just skip episodes 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18. If you don't want to watch 3 Endless Eight episodes, then just skip episodes 12~18.
2006 version (14 episodes): Kyon order (Airing), Haruhi order (Chronological), DVD order.
2009 version: Airing order = Chronological order
