Chips

We call them (french) fries. Sometimes they're refered to as chips when served with fish but I think that's actually a british thing that is only used here because of it's charm.

Since I was a kid I would call them chipped fries because I always related real fries to the type you get from a fast food place or you cook yourself at home.


By the way, all the chips that have been posted in this thread so far I love. Heck, I think I love all types of chips, even the salt and vinegar type chips.
