The Netherlands Football Team used these last summer during the World Cup Football in South Africa, they made it to the final, but I hardly doubt it was because of that Power Balance thing.
Oh yeah, de Jong also used it... pure POWAHHHHHHHH, lol... (Oh yeah, he's now suspended from the Dutch National Team for aggressive play)

Still, van Bronckhorst didn't use one, and he made that absolutely fabulous goal during the World Cup 2010:
