Personally, I got one half a year ago. They don't boost anything. However, I'm a person that believes it's not the product that makes it work but that it's the thought you put in it. Heck, a $ 1,- bracelet would even boost your prestations just as much if you believe it. A reason why I bought one is because even though I believe what I've just said, I still need a charm rather than the thoughts. Plus I found them nice looking.
