For the bowmen: Has the bandwagon affected you?

Sorry for the double postings ;-; please don't give me an infraction ilu mods ^_^;

30% dagger scrolls used to max out at 2m in scania, and 30% 1H sword scrolls used to be 400k. Hell, even 30% claw used to only be 5m. Prices for everything have gone up, not just bow scrolls.

I sold a 30% dagger YESTERDAY for 7.8m, 30% 1H sword for 2.5m, and 30% claw for 21 mil. Its not just bowmen who are feeling the heat of inflation.

Rusty they are now worth a whopping 30m

se 20 and 30 prices these days really make me glad i got them back when 20 was 80m and 30 was 20-30m.

only thing that pisses me off these days is how pricey 30% crossbow is now.

30% xbow prices? I've found them easily 1.5m and less ^_^;

That I will never understand. I'd get bored out of my skull going to Newties that early and not being able to leech. Gobi partying is possibly the one of the funnest things I have ever done in this game and anyone who doesn't do it is seriously missing out.

but yes I remember seeing all those pro snipers/rangers grind it out in the black squid maps >_>

Though its true that archers still have the smallest numbers in terms of 4th job classes, I think we're gaining on other classes every day (least that's what I see)/there are more becoming 4th job than before 4th job was around.

I dont know other servers, but if you're truly funded, you dont start training till 14x: Exchange quests to 20ish, bone fish glitch up to a decent level, PQ to 7x, Ultimate leeching at hafs/wolf spiders till 10x, ultimate Newtie leeching till 13-14x/whenever you want to train.

A LOT of people leech for ages off their own characters/buy leech off others that they dont start training till they're well into their 13x-14x levels. For them, how long it takes to train during the lower jobs dont really matter, sadly =X

yea I know consider bandwagoners those that leech their characters to 120+

In all honesty, it kind of makes me sad that so many people are going "ZOMG ARCHURS R DA BEST" and becomes one.

Just today, I helped a Bishop kill the Headless Horseman, and she thanks me and says "It's rare to see a Bowmaster like you. Most of them try to KS instead of help." I remember a couple years ago when I started this game - I barely saw any bowmen. Throughout my entire Maple life as a bowman, I was told that bowmen suck and their damage sucks and they train slow and blah blah. Now, with the rise of 4th jobs, everyone wants to turn to become a bowman. So, I guess, it has affected me. It's made me a little angry that our class isn't as 'special' anymore.

Also, like everyone else has said - 8 to 10 million meso 30% bow scrolls? No thanks. 150million meso Sharp Eyes? No thanks.

I still have bowman pride. I could never love, or be, another class as passionately as a bowman. I guess what I was trying to say above, was that I really hate how people have always talked down to bowmen. No one wanted to be one. Everyone wanted to be an assassin. Now that 4th job is here... those same hypocritcal people become the thing they have been bashing on for years.

Infact I've been KSed by BMs/AMs at Headless Horseman... its kinda ridiculous...
Anyway I made my archer wow... almost 2 years ago...
I got it to level 25 got bored because it was using bows... and meh the training was boring compared to the excitement of my Fire Mage at DT's
Well when I made my cleric I started leveling my archer as well a bit... its currently 47... Its kinda fun but I wish I had meso to fund it better ='( it feels weak because lack of decent equips... I HAD decent equips before my friend got hacked... I loaned him my stuff.. he quit... ='( yea thats fun right?
I remember back 2 years ago my friend made a crossbowman I thought Iron Arrow was a BADASS skill I still think it is ^_^;
I do remember when you used to see a 40+ bowman and they'd be hella nice >_<
I remember my first Basil Trade was with a bowman he was saving up for an olympus by selling refined BC's or BC ores I don't remember...
He sold me the amount from basil at the basil price... I said "pomegranate my gf needs some aswell" he said well I'll sell you an extra 10 for half price ^_^
I bought them and buddied him he eventually quit =( but he was a Straight A student... =\
