That's a horribly disgusting thing to do, and I'm offended by what you suggested.

To be honest, I've never found naming your child after a character a very sound idea. Your child will never conform to what the character is, or what the character might represent to you; unless you force them, but that's an absolutely heinous idea. I find that your accusation is offensive to me, because you assume I'm a sort of disgusting person by nature who would do such a thing.

I didn't choose this name because of a character, I chose these names because I liked them. The place where you discovered the name doesn't really matter. Like my dear friend Kunagisa states, it's just a name I heard and liked; like how all other names are given by a parent to their children. To be honest, my parents thought of my younger brother's name without that much reason other than the fact it was a commonplace name and that it sounded perfect and fitting with our surname. There's nothing wrong with hearing a name and liking it to use as something to consider for your potential children. For an example, I think "Lise" is a beautiful name, and it's a common one in North Europe. "Liselsia" is a tad grandoise for regular use in my opinion, but really beautiful- has a very nice sound to it. Yes, I did discover the name for the first time while I was reading; but I obviously looked into the name to see if it was an acceptable name among western society.

What I want for my child is to give them a name they won't be ashamed of and one that will be accepted by their peers. At the same time, though; I'd obviously consider what sounds like it has a sort of ring to it with my surname in terms of consonant and vowel sounds- and is an overall nice sounding name. For a girl, I personally prefer a soft or elegant sounding name. For a guy, I like a masculine, strong sort of name.
