If strategy is your thing, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Gamecube), and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) are excellent titles. I also recommend Galaxy and Galaxy 2, even if they are a bit bland.
Mii's are just retarded versions of the Xbox avatars, but at least you're not required to make one. There is an almost non-existent amount of online multiplayer across their games, but Megaman 9 and Megaman 10 are good downloads from the store.
EDIT: ToV, ToS, and TotA are my favorites in that order. I never really got into the 2d ones.
