I think it was intended because they even tweaked the storage to allow only one character to have it open at any time. The strange thing is that this is a HUGE feature that should have had a big announcement with it lol. then again "Players will no longer need to wait for the next server maintenance or submit a ticket to resolve the issue." seems like it's a glitch that was 'fixed'.
I don't see any reason to remove or fix this because what could possibly go wrong? PIC cracking? Nah, if someone had access to your id+pw then you got bigger problems. Duping isn't even possible because only one character can open the storage at the time, what other possible problems can arise from multi-char logging in?
I really love this new option because I don't have to worry about whether or not I should make new characters on separate accounts (no blessing) to be able to use both at the same time.
The fact that they did not announce this as a great and shiny new feature kind of gurantee it is not. Would be epic to be able to have store mule up at the same time as main, but I shall remain very doubtful of this whole thing.
