that's actually one of the things that makes us humans cuz the pre-todays-human didnt do it.
you ask why we do it? cuz we believe in a world beyond death, something like that, i saw it on some science program lol.

me? i dont honor dead people more than any other human being, but i dont feel sorry for them like i feel for those that are "scarred".
