You're heavily misinformed. Of course every place in the world has their share of dangerous cities, but it's a relatively safe country. When I cross over there, it feels great being able to walk on the street, not needing to open and close four doors to get inside a house and not worrying when some strange car is parked across the street.

Whoa, tell us more about this. Specifically, what sort of things are people to doing in an attempt to protect themselves? Is there any sort of curfew or does it not matter because the cartels will abduct/kill you at any time of the day?
