I feel like I am posting too much...but whatever I'll probably die tonight anyways.
Disclaimer: This is all theory. If someone other than me blocked we may be going after the wrong person. If the mafia did not kill we may be going after the wrong person. If there is a Bus Driver that messed with my ability then speak up(Bus Driver could also be mafia for all we know). and so on...
If someone else has a better clue we will go with that.
I assume you speak of Corn's house that burnt down. You may possibly be some sort of Inspector/Investigator? Even so like Mira said you could be mafia that is diverting attention from pie.
Not sure that "wood" is a good enough reason to change my vote yet.
Edit: Yeah and there is Mute who is the detective.
