Heh, I didn't see this coming. On August 31st, 2008, EA celebrated the 13th anniversary of the Red Alert series by making Red Alert 1 downloadable. Also, there's also a deal with the new upcoming Red Alert 3 this holiday: pre-order it (standard: $49.99, premier $64.99) and you'll get Red Alert 2 for free. That sounds like an alright deal to me.
I really liked Red Alert 2, even though I've only played it several times. The online play is fantastic and challenging.
