Actually, I have a degree from UC Riverside in Economics, and have also been heavily trained in marketing and finance, and my past work experience in this spectrum adds to my resume.
I claimed it would come soon along the assumption that Nexon knew its stuff and would not miss a good time to make bank. If I were running the company, this window would never be missed, ever. Otherwise heads would roll. Some companies fail and go bankrupt by missing these kinds of launch windows. It's pretty cut-throat, you know! I'm taking this well because I can enjoy my multiplayer gaming in other things while adding to my Mage here and there before the update. I can wait. Meantime I'll be jumping into Epic Mickey and working on my Call of Duty kill/death ratio.
To put it another way, if I were holding NVidia stock and they missed a crucial release window (such as they did with Fermi), you would see me rioting with rage and then selling my stock. But here it's just analysis. No strings attached. Analyzing how the company should run is a nice way to keep me on my toes when I have free time, don't you think?
And yes, I did say the update would come soon, because I anticipated as such. Here is how I saw it:
Late October update: Big Bang Part 1: skills revamp
Late November update: BB part 2: Resistance class
Mid December update: BB part 3: Mechanics
They could have potentially repeated the success they had with Arans if they kept this structure. Would have been quite lucrative. They could have hyped the hell out of the game and marketed it in time for late Oct/early November and really banked with the gamers, because it would have brought a lot of people back to the game, and with that, more NX.
