Big loss? No. Want to do the PQ for fun or profit? Just use another character. Want MoN? Why? Without the ability to be potentialed it is kind of lackluster.
New skills.
Why would they get any, the job was what the adventurers are turning into from the get go.
End game weapons.
Just as hard/easy to get what ever your job is. Sure axes and blunt weps are cheaper, but polearms has been deflating by a good deal lately.
Decent end game weapon: Purple Surfboard(nearly impossible to get), Arclaive (500 woods, 80 dex as req, expensive), Machlear(barely any partys at DRPQ, hard to get, can't scroll with normal scrolls)
Zakum skillbooks.
Join a run, pay your way in or start a group of your own. Or just save up and buy them.
If you are only playing Aran because of the old god job status, then by all means quit. That goes away.
Like the playstyle of the Aran? Cool! They will simply not get boosted as much as others because there is no need. The fact that other warriors will match and/or surpass an aran does not turn it into a bad class, if any skill receives a nerf it is simply for balance. Watch a few aran vids post BB, they look totally fine.
Thing is, that it seems that when classes are having equal equips, Aran is one of the weakest. I have no clue what was the reason behind all the nerfs. According to Ellinforest, many Arans have quitted after BB. So obviously there is something off there.
Summary.
If you find the aran to be your class when it comes to gameplay, stay on it because it will not suck. If it is some kind of ego tool, quit it because it will not automatically be the best warrior.
