Underclocked RAM
#1
I just bought four 2GB sticks of DDR2 800 RAM. I installed them and went to the BIOS to make sure everything was working, only to find that my RAM is running at 667Mhz instead of 800Mhz. CPU-Z also says that my RAM is PC2-5300. I know for a fact that my RAM is PC2-6400 DDR2 800 and I also know that my motherboard supports 8GB of DDR2 800. I went into the BIOS again to see if I could manually change the frequency. There was an option, but it would not let me edit it. I am about to flash my BIOS because I am pretty sure I am three or four versions behind the latest version, but I don't know if that will fix it or not. If it doesn't, is there anything else I could do to fix it?

Just in case anyone is doubting me, here are links to my motherboard and RAM:

Motherboard: http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=...3_no=#menu

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6820134606

Edit: Well, I feel stupid. I didn't know you could just type in a number for the RAM frequency setting. It's running at 800Mhz now.
