Even if he IS useless, we don't HAVE to kill anyone, so there's no reason to throw him under the bus. He may be a bodyguard role, or maybe some other important town role. Hell, what happens if he's the doctor? At this point, where we don't NEED to kill anyone, doing so is absolutely foolish.
