Lvl just seriously isn't much of an issue anymore these days. So what if I'm lvl 150, or 170+ in my own case? Theres tons of people with double and triple my dmg range that are either 40 lvls lower than I am or at the same lvl as me with that same stat yet, I'm doing fairly well with what I got. What you do need is hp to survive and dmg comes next. If you can have self hb from potential then that saves you a lot of stress by itself if you don't have a dk around. I don't rely on dks anymore ever since we had decent hb but having potential does help more than you think.
For warriors, who almost always tend to get hit we seriously have to have at least 18k hp to be useful at the last boss, other areas less hp requirement but those aren't too big of a concern otherwise you'd just be bait for the boss. For ranged jobs no brainer, just stay away and throw what you got at them, you're less likely to get hit by bosses anyways. Shadowers good for their high dodge rate and smokescreen. Buccaneers would probably need to hp wash some otherwise stock up on hp gears because you'd fall into the same boat as warriors (but its possible to take advantage of the barrage iframes). Dual bladers (which I tend to play most often right now) should take advantage of chains of hell as much as possible among the other skills like bloody storm (for their iframes of course) but requirements to survive fall in same category as the ranged jobs must have at least 8k hp otherwise you won't be much help besides being a thorns mule (actually I think 7k may be enough but when I first went I had 9k hp with a dk around).
