Also; being able to use gacha to sell items to players is a huge, and yet subtle to many, advantage in the economy.
A new player that takes to gacha is very well off right from the start and won't even struggle for potions. Compared to me, who struggled to attempt to start a new server without using NX, once my initial training quest potions ran out, and NONE of the lv 10-25 quests awarding potions (With the single exception of Nella's kerning quest) now NOR MESO.
Until i just gave up and started looting at ch 1 henesys =\
Also, gacha is very effective at grabbing meso in the market, so if someone goes on a scrolling run; a gach user that also can boss for extra funds; is going to be able to be way more productive than someone who can just boss. Gacha is a huge advantage, but the way it affects the game is subtle.
