Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6
Pie: I was going to smack you on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper and reprimand you for posting here, but there's little point in that now as you guys will soon see.

The cap'n awoke in his cabin to find that he was not alone. The body of Sam Jacobs, one of his last crew members, was lying in the middle of the floor in his cabin with his throat slit. Realizing what this most likely meant, he took a deep breath, cocked his pistol, and walked out onto the deck.

The sight that met his eyes confirmed his fears. His ship's doctor, Gibbs, was staring down two now-undisguised ninjas, a pistol in hand. "So that be it, then?" the cap'n asked. "Ye cut us down to this few, and now ye aren't even keepin' yer disguises to finish the job?"

The one they had known as the pirate Tom Morgan responded to the cap'n's words. "We wanted to do something special for you, captain. That, and we were fed up with imitatin' yer stupid accent."

Cap'n Jones shrugged off the insult. "I be a man of actions, not words. But I be havin' one question for ye. Why?"

Tom smiled. "Two reasons. One, we were bored. Two, killing off an entire ship of pirates is not only hilarious but will make for a great story."

The cap'n growled and swung his pistol up towards Tom's face. An instant later, the hand that had been holding his pistol was no longer attached to his arm. An instant after that, there was a sword plunged through his chest. The cap'n looked over just in time to see Gibbs run through by the other ninja - John, that be what he called himself. John Johnson. I should've known that name were fake...

The ninjas, their work done, vanished in a cloud of smoke, leaving the Esmeralda to her fate.

GAME IS OVER. The ninjas win. There were two of them left (note: 20 person game, so standard mafia size is 5, not 4). Also, there was only one neutral, and that was Mr. Wordbomber. I almost never (read: I never have yet and don't plan to in the future as far as I can tell) use more than a single neutral in my games. Just a little fyi.

Anyway, the last few people: Darkmaniak was Cap'n Jones, as I'm sure most of you figured out. Jon was Dr. Gibbs, the ship's doctor role (who, by the way, did not have a single successful protection <_<). ElectricSix and ThatHurts were the remaining two ninjas - Tom Morgan and John Johnson, respectively. Vanilla ninja scum, no special powers.

Next up: game logs, copied/pasted right out of my .txt file that I kept everything in.

Night 0
Actions:

MasPan - detects Mephisto
Rayquaza2233 - switches y0y0y0y0shi0 and Holypie
Corn - kills MasPan
Russt - blocks Jon

You may see night 3 and think "...MasPan killing someone? What?" That was the source of your mystery disappearance kill. I added him in as a special role as an afterthough, partly because dying night 0 sucks and partly because losing the detective on night 0 sucks even harder. He was the captain of the Flying Dutchman (as he kept saying in the discussion thread). Once he had 5 crew members other than himself (read: 5 deaths after him), he was allowed a single night kill. The catch, though - I told him not to actively say "hey I'm dead, what was your role?", but I DID tell him that if someone else contacted him with a "sorry for killing you on night 0" type of dealie, that was perfectly fair game. He was a ghost. He could haunt and hear the whispers of the living. Apparently he didn't hear any whispers, though. <_<

So yeah. Questions? Comments? Concerns? Proposals on who runs the next one?
