The thing is though, MP Eater has been buffed post-BB because mob's HP was increased. max mob HP right now doesn't go any higher than about 300 on regular mobs in GMS right now. Post-BB, mobs level 101-200 have about 3000 MP; mobs 121-14x have 4000 MP. Since MP eater takes 40% of the max MP of a mob at a 30% rate, about 1/3 attacks on a level 121+ mob will give at least 1000 MP. Yeah, lots of MP needed, I don't think 1000 MP every few seconds is enough.
