makes sense to me now... seems that all maps that remove your speed/jump can/will disconnect you. boats, jump quests, stage 5 APQ, anything. i also attempted to do that dragon rider pq yesterday and all 3 of us dc'ed on the stage after killing the dragon (2 of us dc'ed from a rock falling on us). on jq's it's mainly when i use skills like haste/booster, but it's really random (the other day in kaede jq i used haste on someone in my party and THEY dc'ed). on boats, if i jump around/use skills, i am likely to dc.
