Would someone mind trying something out for me? I don't have the time or resources in game right now to do so, but I've been thinking of something as a sort of dungeon lighting set-up. The stairway portion is easiest to do I think since it should only require 2 lava. Anyway, create a 6 block wide 1-by-1 step stairway down lining all the walls in cobblestone. From there, take the two blocks against each wall and dig two blocks deeper. Line the "walls" that you dug up with two blocks of glass to reach back where the steps were. Put 1 lava block at the top of the stairs in the remaining slots on each side. Top the lava with 1 cobblestone block all the way down to have an even stairway again.
Would really like to see some SS of this in action at night/in the dark just to see if it is worth hunting down mass lava to do in level areas as well. Thanks.
