Is google making us stupid?

Interestingly enough my government teacher mentioned something in passing about how it's less valuable to know facts anymore... when you can Google them up from almost anywhere.

After you memorize every single English word and their various definitions, you are no better than that ten dollar dictionary that you can buy at the bookstore around the corner.
