That would be a perfectly fair excuse if they didn't already have a fix for this issue. If they didn't I wouldn't be so annoyed that they didn't fix it during this patch. If they didn't take the game down for an emergency patch I wouldn't have cared either. But the fact is they had a window of opportunity, they have the means, and there was absolutely no reason not to sneak it in there. Really, there was no reason for it to have returned. Once something like that happens in the first place it should be added to a checklist whenever a new patch with cards happens.

@Swordstaker: Like it or not, the cards were a part of this patch's features and are just as important as any other feature. What's worse is that not only do they not work as intended, but they screw up a years worth of work for anyone who is interested in that feature. That may not matter if you only have a few cards but for those of us with 1500+ it's a pretty big deal. Especially because I can't back up my monster book.
