Xbox360:
All xbox 360s can play all current games. Getting one with a hard drive IS preferred but not needed. Im sure you can pick up a refurb from gamestop or somewhere like that for about 100-150ish. Xbox Live (From what ive heard) has better online chat but you do have to pay for it. You can also use Netflix, live.fm, and rent movies from the zune marketplace. Soon you will soon be able to watch Hulu Plus
PS3:
The PS3 seems to be catching up with games. Alot of ports to the PS3 seem to suffer this "PS3 Porting Syndrome" where the game loses quality, has longer loading times, and sometimes gets choppy. The PS3 can play Blurays, and has free online gaming. Netflix is supported and movie rentals are also supported. Currently, the PS3 is being... exploited. In the past few weeks or so since the first "Hack" has become available, alot of progress has occurred. The downside to this is not being able to upgrade your firmware and not being able to play online. A 60 gb used from gamestop is $350 but this is due to it being able to play ps2 games probably. its cheaper to just get a current slim for 300 new.
PSP:
The PSP is.. iffy. I havnt really seen a game that has caught my eye recently. I prefer my DS Lite. Unless you can get a 1000 or 2000 series, theyre not really worth getting.

XBOX360: Wasn't sure, never researched it, was mainly looking at Tales when I was considering this.
PS3: Not much has changed then... I wonder if the national distribution center down the street where I got my PS2 refurbished a while ago could have some spare units laying around for cheap.
PSP: Kinda low priority anyhow since a friend lent me his a while back with a number of the games I was interested in. Still maybe 5 or 6 I wanted to try, but nothing all that intense.
