This is happening to me as well. It is between 1/3 and 2/3 of the monsters that keep missing me. Of course, somehow I was able to play three plus hours before I did notice. I tried to restart the computer like what I heard long ago for a similar problem. Did not work.
For some reason, I decided to stream two videos at the same time then ran into every monster in the map. They ALL hit me. ALL of them.
Wait what? o.o
EDIT: The ones that appear after I kill the ones that appear become 'invisible'. However, if I were to leave and come back, they can hit me again.
Weird...
