Apparently it's not just there. Probably better to take a video, but neither the Froscolas or Jester Scarlion do any physical damage to me, magic damage still works though if I let them unfreeze.

Edit: For some strange reason it was only the minidungeon ones. But then the Yabber Doos are likewise not doing any physical damage to me. This is really strange.

Edit: And now they're all back to doing phsycial damage to me. I dunno what's going on.
