sure some kids get money for christmas but most people start shopping in november, and since this year there's so much else to spend your money on, nexon should have tried to beat the other companies to the punch by releasing it early so people would spend money on nx instead of other games. the return would have been larger than any kid is going to get for christmas.
october: everyone still has their money and can readily spend it on nx -- prime time to release big bang
november: christmas shopping hits it's stride, rash of huge releases -- poor release time. people will have to choose and nexon will rarely win
december: everyone has spent all of their leisure money on gifts, no money for nx. kids who recieved money for christmas will still have lots of choices besides nx.
if you know there's a storm coming you want to prepare ahead of it. their last chance would be in the last week of october (because they won't patch any earlier for obvious reasons) if they really want to make money on big bang. even then it's a gamble but every day they wait after mid-october means a lot less potential profit.
