Opinions are welcomed on the Nexon forums! With that said, we do expect you to respect the opinions of others, even if you do not agree with them. We want to encourage discussions, not arguments, so please do not use conflicts you have with others forum members as discussion points. If you have an opinion to share about Nexon games and its services, please post it constructively so it will encourage others to do so as well.

Behavior Towards Nexon
Understandably, some things can be frustrating and it feels good to express your thoughts. As mentioned, you are free to express yourself on the forums but not on Nexon’s expense. This means we will not allow derogatory comments, threats, intellect insults, “crusades” against Nexon, and other comments encouraging other members to accept a certain ideology about Nexon.

Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt (FUD)
We would like to ask forum members not to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) on the forums. It creates rumors and false information to spread. It does not contribute to the productivity of the forums.

This shows the fundamental flaw in Nexon's overall thinking and strategy. They will permit opinions, except if those opinions dissent from their status quo. What Nexon refuses to understand is that no one starts playing their products with any preconceived notions that this company is "evil" "corrupt" or "incompetent." Those notions get created from a prolong period of interaction (or lack thereof) with Nexon.

No one would go on these said "crusades" against Nexon if Nexon didn't allow the conditions for something like that to happen in the first place. Most people who try to lobby Nexon with what Nexon deems as an alleged "crusade" are people who deeply care about the virtual community and see something wrong with it that can be easily fixed or at least addressed, only to fall on deaf ears from the Powers That Be. These "crusades" are the community's last attempt to negotiate with an entity that simply wishes to ignore the problem and let it get worse.

Fear, uncertainty and doubt wouldn't exist either if Nexon would clearly address the problems in a normal language, without the use of legalese, public relations speak, or other forms of vagueness that is designed to say something without actually saying something.

Nexon needs to understand that they have a pretty solid product, and the players for the most part are willing to cooperate with down time and bugs, if it is for the greater good of the community.
