Professor Layton Games

The plot had a major plot twist.
It was really sad at the end...TWO times ;_;

Also, what I don't get...

Is at the end of the 3rd game, Luke writes to Layton a letter saying blah blah new mystery. But the 4th game is supposedly set 3 years before Curious Village. What??
