This won't solve anything and this poses the problem of immediate, and noticable, profit loss for Nexon because a lot of XP users are actually upgrading to 7 and 7 is gaining a lot of ground.
In last month's OS market share report, it shows Windows XP losing ~10% of its market share in only 10 months since the release of Windows 7. That's a massive drop in a short period of time. On the other hand, Windows 7 has gained ~16% of the market share in that same time period.
Nexon will eventually be forced to make their client fully compatible by the direction the market is going in the near future. For Nexon, staying with XP will eventually be like fighting a losing battle.
