So you don't think the support for the Iraq war had anything to do with the fact that the original justifications for invasion were proven to not be true?

What then do you think of the surge? Things took a turn for the better when they poured more troops in, but did Bush's approval ratings go up accordingly? Even if they did go up, did they go up to the points they were at before the invasion of Iraq?

People being upset about how the war was handled is understandable, but I would say that people are more upset about the false pretenses the war was started on.
