Been playing this game for a couple weeks now. I'm already on my 3rd world. My favorite "home" to make is to cultivate trees on top of another and make a mega tree. So much easier now with the new sneaking feature. Btw its easy as hell to make a fireproof fireplace. All you have to do is make sure all adjacent blocks are fire proof. Steps work wonderfully but I prefer glass. Also the easiest way to mine is to strip mine. Get about 2 full stacks of wood and craft that into planks then to sticks and finally into ladders. Build a 2x1 hole in the ground always hitting the one in front of you before you hit the one you're under. That way if you find a cave (or a dungeon) you won't fall into the abyss. Place the ladders in odd increments. You can still climb up walls even if you have a ladder for every other block. If anyone is interested I can show you my world. I'm currently working on an arrow factory myself.
