Anything could be added to any program including a crash report feature. One of the most popular bug reporting agents is BugZilla which can be configured to send crash reports, logs, and even screenshots back to the server intended. They could add this or any other bug reporter. The problem is Nexon doesn't want to do anything to MapleStory because GMS is so poorly coded now, anything added would only escalate the problems. You don't just cut, copy, and paste code for at least 2 years and don't do adaquate testing prior to each release and not expect bugs.
I said it in another post, at this point GMS needs to be completely rewritten from scratch. Content can stay but the game engine needs a rebuild so if there are any underlying issues they can be fixed and removed the right way. It needs it bad. Look at the developer's words. They probably C.C.P.ed so much stuff from KMS without realizing there are fundamental differences between KMS and GMS. OS version built for, DirectX foundation layer version, architecture compiled for. The game engines for GMS and KMS are alike, but they aren't exactly alike.
I'm actually at this point hoping Big bang fixes a lot of stuff, but the problem I see is, Nexon won't do all the work needed and will just C.C.P. more stuff on the existing code and the problems will only get progressively worse.
