I don't really have a problem with noting something like that Ray, and I don't think you need to exclude yourself because of it. I dunno, I didn't have a problem with an IRC reliant game, and I don't have a problem with a non IRC mafia game, or a mix between the two. I would say that accusing anyone of being mafia based on being on IRC is a bit questionable, but it's up to everyone's individual logic as to whether or not that is something you take into account when figuring out mafia members. For me, just having someone log on IRC after joining a mafia game isn't too suspicious. I did the same thing when I decided to join in. Even if it wasn't a requirement, I still would have gotten on then so as to stay abreast of things in game. While it's true most major discussion probably shouldn't happen on there, you still may miss something by not logging on and thus, if you're trying to discover more info, it's certainly not a bad idea to do so.
