Dropped potential items are already getting cheaper. You can easily find 3% stat overall/glove/shoes in the FM for 5m or so these days, and less for 2 lines. I saw an epic 3 line Bazura the other day for 50m, which is like getting up to Epic in 3-4 cubes, and it wasn't selling. I found a 3% dex 3% dex level 100 Pirate boots two days ago and it's probably not worth 100m anymore.
