Well, I've thought about it, and at this point, I'd say MetaSeraphim and Mephisto are both equally likely a Detective or mafia. Meta has seemed somewhat suspicious to me because this is the first time he's voted, even after last round where Tobias and CoB voted for him. To me that seems to imply either that a) He knew he had the vote in hand against the other two or b) He was absolutely sure that y0shi or Tobias was a mafia or neutral. If he is a detective, then obviously that would explain him trying to play things low key whilst he searches other people, and now after Mephisto has claimed to be a Terran detective, Meta decided he couldn't risk keeping quiet. On the other hand, he may be trying to kill the actual detective by presenting us with an apparently false choice. His claim that a possible Zerg detective is more dangerous than a relatively confirmed Protoss mafia member seems sketchy to me. Yes there is some amount of danger to having a mafia detective around, but so far he's seemingly hunted the Protoss. That's never a bad thing, as Mafia vs Mafia kills are to the towns advantage. Thus he could be mafia, a detective, or a mafia detective. It's hard to say at this point.
Mephisto on the other hand has proven accurate with his vote of y0shi, and apparently with Lord Xela. That doesn't remove him from suspicion though, as it is possible he's a neutral detective, a mafia detective, a regular detective, or the spokesperson for a mafia detective. Any of those are possibilities, but it's safe to say he's not the claimed Protoss detective since he's worked to kill them. That leaves him with Zerg, Terran, or Neutral tendencies. Of those, I'd say it's far more likely he's Terran or Zerg. Thus he and Meta are about equal in my eyes. However, he is hunting down Protoss, while Meta hasn't done much, so I'm inclined to side with him for the moment. If Meta were to in some way verify his own non mafianess, I'd be willing to change my vote to Mephisto, but for now, Lord Xela is the sure mafia and I'd rather take a sure lynch than a possible mafia lynch.
And while I'm talking about Lord Xela. I think I'll mention that with his comments, he'sdone a decent job trying to make things murky for the rest of us. Probably my main issue, is that although he claimed that they have their own detective and discovered Mephisto is a Zerg, he didn't give any specifics. Not what zerg, what his ability was, or anything else. That sort of vagueness after claiming to have your own detective is a bit puzzling and seems more inclined to mean that it's a fake claim to get us to kill our own detective. I'm not saying that there isn't some suspicion on Mephisto, but between his comments being rather vague, and Meta's comments not providing adequate proof, I'm going to stick with my vote for Lord Xela
