As long as the customers allow them to be money whores, they will remain that way. Why do you think Nexon targets the younger audience? They are fickle, and easily satisfied. They don't vote with their wallets in response to something the company doesn't do properly.
A company like Nexon would be eaten alive if their target audience comprised of slightly older and wiser customers. Nexon has among the absolute dumbest customers who will reward Nexon even for fail patches and shoddy customer service.
I believe this is also why Nexon American doesn't have shareholders/board of directors. They would have to answer to all the BBB complaints on a far more severe level.
