Judgment Wrote:I was talking about more about real-life relationships and not so much about purely in-game ones. It'd be quite stupid if a married couple divorced because one of them was hacking in Maple, for example. In-game ones are harder to judge, but there are still real people behind those characters. I do understand when it's time to end a friendship if the other person is denying about their illegitimate actions.
There's also the problem I've had in MS. The people who hack, and try to constantly talk about it and sometimes try to get you into it. I would delete them just because that was all that they were about. In MS, its uncomfortable on the same level as having a friend who always talks about death or painful things, or illegal things. So, if their conversation is fixated on that sort of thing, i think cutting it off is justified in that sense too.
In RL, i agree, it would be stupid to cut it off with a person you really know. I knew someone who did hack another game i used to play, whenever he'd bring up the subject, i'd just brush it off and make it obvious i didn't care much. He learned to stop trying to get my interest in it, I'm not into lazy gaming. Did the same with another guy and his MS PS.
