Entertainment is entertainment, I don't think someone should be out (yes it often is more healthy) for entertainment when he doesn't exjoy it one bit. The computer shouldn't be a rock bottom buffer for your boredom crisis, it has its place, where it should stay.
Now I understand trying new things and finding new interests kind of an advice. Forcing yourself away from the computer for that period is reasonable; But that it should be the last thing on the list for eternities because of its vile nature isn't a healthy mentality, in my opinion.
Seconding the rest though, if you enjoy it, do it; If you don't, don't. Give yourself more opportunities to find new things you like, and do them.

Obviously, if you don't enjoy it, stop. Especially if you're addicted to it, and enjoy going out more anyways.
If you say you don't enjoy the computer anymore, but after imagining you don't have it you say you do, maybe you have your priorities screwed. Just set yours right. And I assure you, if you start feeling like the computer is not what's going to make you feel better, just avoid it.
