*sigh*
I was listing those as examples of how Content that was "mainstream" (IE first released in KMS) has been previously adapted to the version rather than just taken as they are. I *know* that KMS based Kerning Square off Taipei 101, but the plotline of Kerning Square's quests and of Taipei 101, the monster levels, how it's reached, even what monsters are there (Claw machines from Ximending randomly being added in there). It has nothing to do with "political conflicts" or anything. They (KMS) changed it around the same way they changed around Neo Tokyo into Neo City, the same way they took Singapore's shredded remains and sewed it back together into the Ghost Ship PQ. Yes they're based on version-exclusives, but trying to say Kerning Square is the same thing as Taipei 101 is like saying that JMS Crimsonwood is the same as GMS's. It's the same pieces, but it's put together in a different way.
As for what I was ACTUALLY referring to there by mentioning Kerning Square, it was that the questline in JMS's Kerning Square is radically different from the one in KMS et al. Just look: http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php...ing+Square. I think that thread explains it enough for my point to be obvious now.
