Maybe it randomly chooses one like how people thought that +2 transforms chose the look depending on the first cell used when in actuality it picks one look at random.

So your gloves were 50/50 and it landed on the same look while your shoes landed on the other look. Does this make sense to anyone? I'm not good at explaining things.

my gloves were lucky with 5 dex 6 luk then i used a dex one and they stayed the same. my shoes were 5 dex 6 luk then i used a dex one and they changed. overall was the same stats and changed also. don't have enough medals to check my helm.
