Last game Chompy was silencer, and unless I'm missing something, I don't see anyone got silenced last game. Mephisto banished people but Chompy didn't silence anyone.

On the other hand, the main point of suspicion about Synthesist is that the clue seems to point to him, yet that would imply that he's the killer. Killer and silencer are not the same.
Also, since BTA is lurking, I'm curious what he has to say about Daku's vote.
