Ahh, that is true, so that is my mistake. If my assumption are wrong, which would put yoshi back as a possible killer. There are some other assumptions I made to reach the particular conclusion that y0shi was unlikely to be the killer, but they suffer from some similar problems as they're using last game as a basis, which as you pointed out, could be a rather large error. However, I'm not quite convinced that those alone are enough to put y0shi as the killer given the clue. As I mentioned before, there are several intepretations possible, so while it is possible, I still find it to be the least likely answer.
